Inspiration

The Stanley Kubrick movie '2001: A Space Odyssey' was the inspiration for the form of Floating Bed. After seeing the monolith with its perfect geometric shape, an ape in the movie gets an idea. A moment Kubrick called 'the dawn of man'. Straight corners as a metaphor for intelligence.
